Google’s Panda algorithm, which measures the quality of a website, is now officially part of the Google core ranking algorithm. This prevents low-quality sites from ranking in the search results pages.
What You Need To Know About This Update
Google’s John Mueller shared some details in a webmaster hangout. Here are some information about this update:
1. These kinds of updates are ‘rolling algorithms’. Meaning, they would not announce exact dates and say what they change on the algorithm.
2. The integrated Panda algorithm is not real-time in the sense that URLs are crawled and data is there immediately.
3. Everything has been tested, and it works. They core algorithm runs by itself now.
In this video, Google explains what it means for Panda to be part of the core algorithm
