Head to a site that allows you to see all your backlinks in one spot. From there, you can pinpoint words in domain names that indicate spammy sites: press, directory, SEO, and article are examples.
Take a look at the site’s country of origin. Some spammy sites have URLs ending in the extensions of countries where spam is usually sent from.
