This week at SEOPartner, we’re sharing: SEO updates that can deliver significant impact to your results, exciting changes in the marketplace to watch out for, good-to-know studies and information, and tips to try based on recent findings on search, online marketing and more.
1. Google Tests AdWords Price Extensions on Desktop
Initially introduced in July on mobile, Google has rolled out price extensions on desktop.
Originally, the price extensions were displayed as a list where users can view the price of products or services. This was updated last week to a swipeable card format which now shows price information horizontally.

2. Visual Sitelinks Beta Now Ongoing
Google has been testing image extensions on and off for the past several years. Now, they’re doing another experiment, this time by adding images into AdWords ads.
Called visual sitelink extensions, the images are added as sitelinks extensions and presented in a swipeable carousel (similar to the recently upgraded look of Price extensions). Visual sitelinks beta is being rolled out in phases to selected markets.

3. New Bing Update Introduces Search and Save Feature
A recent Bing update introduces a feature called My Saves which allows to users to save videos, images and shopping searches. Saved content can be accessed and viewed later on the user’s preferred device.
While searching on desktop, users can hover on a video or image to access the option to save these. After clicking on the save button, the video or image will be added to My Saves which can be accessed at www.bing.com/saves. On mobile, users will need to slide to the left on the search results to access the My Saves feature.
Another new feature, aimed at shoppers, provides Bing searchers the option to filter results for items that can be purchased. After conducting an image search, users will now see a text which reads “See shopping results.” Clicking on the text will filter the results, showing only images of products that can be purchased.
The new features at the moment have only been released in selected markets only.

4. Two New Google AdWords Reports Can Help Boost Physical Store Visits
Google AdWords recently released two new reports that can help make online marketing for physical stores a lot easier. The reports are designed to gather data on how many clicks lead to in-store visits and how far away a person is from the store when searching for it online.
Distance reporting
– Marketers can determine the radius in which store visit rates are highest
– They can then start targeting ads more specifically to that area
– Now available for Search campaigns; available soon for Shopping campaigns
– Can be accessed under the AdWords Dimensions tab
Store visits performance reporting
– Marketers can use the insights to decide if increasing budgets and bidding investments in areas that drive more visits is ideal
– Available soon to geographic and user locations reports
– Can be found by clicking the Settings tab, then Locations tab, then “View Location Reports.”
