1. Google Tag Manager X AMP Makes Tagging Easier Than Ever
Google has launched support for Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) in Tag Manager. This update is intended to make tagging easier, especially for “folks who are new to AMP or who have tagging needs beyond tracking a basic page view,” Google said.
Measuring AMP pages is already possible in Google Analytics. But this update simplifies the entire process and pushes it a step further.
– AMP containers in Tag Manager provide support to AdWords, DoubleClick and across Google’s other ad platforms.
– Users can now find more than 20 tag types, including various third-party vendor tags, that will be readily available out of the box.
– It’s also now easier to fire tags due to the expansive coverage of AMP’s triggers that can be accessed as built-in Tag Manager triggers.

4. Google Working on Tech That Recreates Masterpieces in Real Time
Marketers know just how much power and influence a single image can hold. With this latest innovation that uses machine learning and style transfer, anyone will be able to create stunning visuals – that look like masterpieces – in real time.
Style transfer technology allows users to turn ordinary photos to resemble well-known paintings, like “Starry Night” by Van Gogh or “The Scream” by Munch. But a team in Google is set to “supercharging” the technique: they’re using machine learning to come up with an advance version that can “combine multiple styles in a single transfer, in real time.”
